East 25th Street Clinic

We believe that recovery is about progression, not about perfection.

At The Recovery Center of Maryland and The Recovery Center USA, our mission is to help individuals and families dealing with mental illness navigate and manage their condition while encouraging progress in achieving personalized goals.

We recognize that each individual has their unique struggles and challenges, and we are committed to meeting our clients with empathy and unconditional positive regard. Empathy is at the core of our approach to treatment. We strive to understand and validate our clients’ experiences, feelings, and perspectives without judgment.

Our team members are trained in active listening skills and are attentive to the needs of our clients. By creating a safe and non-judgmental space, we aim to build trust and rapport with our clients, allowing them to open up about their struggles and work towards healing. In addition to empathy, we also believe in approaching our clients with unconditional positive regard. This means that we accept each person for who they are without any conditions or expectations. We recognize that everyone has inherent worth and value as human beings, regardless of their past mistakes or current struggles. By showing genuine care and support for our clients, we hope to foster a sense of self-worth within them, which is crucial for recovery.

We understand that recovery may take multiple chances before it is achieved fully. That’s why we are here for our clients every step of the way. Our team works closely with each individual to create personalized treatment plans based on their specific needs and goals. We believe in utilizing evidence-based practices combined with holistic approaches to address all aspects of an individual’s well-being.

We work with individuals in all stages of their lives to provide prevention care and personalized strategies for managing mental illness.
