Healing Together: The Recovery Center of Maryland’s Event for Mental Wellness and Community Support

Baltimore, MD — In response to the tragic Francis Scott Key Bridge collapse, The Recovery Center of Maryland is dedicated to fostering healing, growth, and mental wellness within the community. On April 9, we invite you to join us for a day filled with activities, support, and solidarity as we come together to support one another.

From peer-led support groups where shared stories bring strength to yoga sessions for recovery and coping skills workshops, our event offers a diverse range of resources and activities aimed at promoting healing and resilience. Don’t miss the opportunity to participate in a workshop led by Dr. Desyree Dixon on trauma recovery techniques, providing invaluable insights for fostering healing and growth.

At the event, you can engage in therapeutic activities like coloring for stress relief, connect with expert clinicians for professional support, and find solace in our Sobriety Stand offering warm tea and a space for reflection. Our community allies, including non-profit representatives, mental health advocates, and therapists, are here to provide compassionate assistance during this challenging time.

Join us on April 9, as we unite as a community, find strength in unity, and embark on a journey towards healing and support.

Let’s come together to heal, grow, and support one another during this time of need. Your presence and participation will make a difference as we navigate the path to recovery together.

We look forward to seeing you there!
